WITH barely a week to go before the national thanksgiving Mass for St. Pedro Calungsod, the Cebu Archdiocese is faced with a major problem. The area intended for dignitaries was flooded with rain water after a heavy downpour early yesterday morning. Most of the 27-hectare venue at the South Road Properties (SRP) is filled with mud and boulders. Some visitors have to use boots in going to the site while a vehicle got stuck in mud. Workers stopped using heavy equipment in the area so loose soil and limestone or anapog that were spread out in the area won’t get destroyed.
